FREEPSY Free Clinics Network

FREEPSY-FCN-MAP-JUN25

The Free Clinics Network directory includes more than 250 autonomous clinical collectives in 20 countries offering free or low-cost psychoanalysis to marginal individuals and populations. It is a resource for both patients and psychoanalysts globally, aiming to widen access to psychoanalytic treatment and to promote shared practices among clinicians.

Feel free to explore the directory using the filter and search functions to identify clinics in particular locations, or that focus on particular populations or symptoms (e.g. LGBQT+, psychosis, refugees, women, etc).

Free Clinics Network – meetings and workshops

We see this initial mapping as a starting point: through regular multilingual meetings and workshops of the Free Clinics Network, we hope to intensify the connections within the ecology of these collectives, and to reach collectives that we are not yet in contact with. We also hope that the existence of the Free Clinics Network will inspire psychoanalysts to create their own collectives and clinics in diverse locations around the world.

Currently we have meetings in English, Portuguese and Spanish language. If you have a suggestion for a different language, please contact us, we would love to expand!

Please reach out to us at freepsy@essex.ac.uk with thoughts and suggestions about how we can support the ecology of free clinics, or to give us feedback about the inclusion of your clinic in the directory. You can also follow us on Instagram: @freeclinicsnetwork

We are aligned and allied with multiple collectives and networks in the ecology of mental health and psychoanalysis.
You can find a list of these partners and friends here.
